As you can see by the one photo, I am normally pretty pale in the winter, and this gives me that nice, sun-kissed glow without looking orange. I was a little nervous because I had never used a self-tanner before, but this was easy to apply, did not leave streaks, and did not seem to rub off on clothing. It comes out white, then over the course of the next 8 hours, your skin starts to darken. I got the lighter of the two: fair-medium color, and it worked great for me. I’ve used several self-tan products over the years, and so far, I’m really happy with this one! I like that it’s a more natural product, and the fragrance is mild. I do feel like maybe I detect a little bit of an orange hue, but that could just be because I’ve been so white for so long, and that’s how I’m used to seeing myself. Haha. (Thanks, Winter.) I applied it with rubber gloves, which is my favorite method of self-tan application. I pull the gloves back to blend the product into my hands. Yeah, it does take a bit of effort to get this product rubbed in all the way, but I found it helped me to pay extra attention to even application. It was very moisturizing and left my skin feeling very soft. At about 6-7 hours after application, I could see a noticeable difference, and I have no streaks or spots, very even tan.
